Groomsmen's Gifts

The fiance has a dilemma. The groomsmen's gifts are proving to be more challenging that either of us bargained for. Our groomsmen have all been in their fair share of weddings and, therefore, we have ruled out the following gifts:

  • the traditional engraved beer mug, money clip, pen, or flask
  • cologne, watch, or cuff links
  • a round of golf the day of the wedding there isn't enough time that morning since pictures will start around 11am.

Obviously he could give/gift his groomsmen the socks and tie we would like them to wear for the actual wedding. However, I think that he would like to give them something else....that they might actually use after the wedding.

My thoughts:

  • a baseball cap from their favorite sporting team
  • a cigar(s) and a bottle of their favorite liquor
  • a travel shaving kit stocked full of manly toiletries

Ummm that's all I got. Help us. Please.

My sister did these for her wedding, they were a hit!

You can find bar signs like this too.

My fiance is giving his groomsmen a putting set. Its in a nice box and he thinks they'll take it to their offices!

My fiance was just the best man in a wedding and the gift he received was two tickets to multiple Phillies (baseball) games that were intended for him and his friend (the groom) to go to.

Maybe, he could get really good tickets to some sporting event for all of them?

Just an idea.

My fiance was in the same situation...all his guys have every "groomsmen" gift imaginable. Here is what we ended up finding...

He's going to put in a 6 pack of their favorite beer too.

I know my fiance and his buddies enjoy a good bottle of Jack Daniels and cigars every now and again, so I think that would be a perfectly good gift! Besides, you're already giving them the socks and ties, like you said.

Guys don't like cute little monogrammed things like girls do... most likely it would end up in a closet somewhere or worse, in the trash...

I'm not a fan of the matching gifts. We'll be getting them each something different.
One of the bees got her groomsmen XBox 360 which is a damn nice gift.
How about tickets to a game?

We're doing electronic valet chargers. I really like the idea of game tickets.

I got my groomsmen Engraved Beer Boots, like the kind in the movie Beerfest. I thought they were modern, personalized, and NOT BORING! The company was Beerfest Boots or type in
http://www.BeerFestBoots.com. They did a really nice job sandblasting them, and the glasses were heavy as hell. My groomsmen loved em and now we all bring them to our Sunday football guys day.
